In the Kitchen with Ground Zero Blues Club

BILOXI, Miss. (GULF COAST WEEKEND) - Ground Zero Blues Club is now open for lunch and dinner Wednesday through Saturday starting at 11 a.m.

The Howard Avenue club’s restaurant features a “delta inspired coastal menu” with items like Boiled Peanut Hummus, Bubba’s Boat shrimp po-boy with Git Back sauce, and the Crossroads Club with fried bologna and pimento cheese.

Head Chef BJ Creswell and Sous Chef Luis Gonzalez stopped by the WLOX Studios to show us how they make their Delta Coast Blues Burger. It’s a ground angus chuck + brisket patty with “bluesberry” infused pork belly, pepper jack cheese, blackened shrimp slaw with a smoked bluesberry chipotle BBQ sauce, served on a brioche bun.
