SOUTH MISSISSIPPI (WLOX) - Cruisin’ the Coast 2024 was one for the books, as 9,961 cruisers registered for this year’s event.

WLOX made their way across every South Mississippi city, from the Long Beach Block Party to Cruisin’ the River City in Moss Point, and the Biloxi Block Party that had cruisers coming out to find a spot at Biloxi Town Green before the sun came up.

The Flame Throwing Competition turned up the heat in Gulfport as cruisers competed to see who had the tallest flame.

While flame throwing had spectators looking up, Burn ‘Em Up in the Pass brought eyes to the ground for some smokin’ tires.

These are just a handful of the sounds of Cruisin' the Coast 2024, but thousands of people were out for the whole week checking out the classic cars and the sites of South Mississippi.

It wouldn’t be a Cruisin’ wrap-up without the unveiling of the 2025 Cruisin’ the Coast Raffle Car, which was a ’72 Chevrolet Super Cheyanne.

There is a major change for next year, with Cruise Central relocating to Jones Park in Gulfport.

With Cruisin’ the Coast 2024 wrapped up, mark your calendars: Cruisin’ the Coast 2025 is scheduled for October 5 through 12.
