Sammy the two-toed sloth sleeps through Good Morning Mississippi appearance

BILOXI, Miss. (GULF COAST WEEKEND) - Sammy the Sloth paid a visit to the WLOX Studios this week to take a nap with the Good Morning Mississippi crew. I mean, what do you expect from a two-toed sloth at 6 a.m.?

Zookeeper Cody Breland from Wild Acres Hands-On Discovery Park in McHenry said Sammy typically wakes up around 10 a.m. and is one of the most popular animals for visitors of all ages to meet.

Wild Acres offers private, hands-on tours and encounters Wednesday-Sunday from 12pm - 6pm, by appointment only. Their sloth encounter is a 30 minute experience where you can hold, feed, pet, and take pics with Sammy.
